A 19 year-old Kariong been charged with grievous bodily harm, after a pub-fight left a 30 year-old Sydney man fighting for his life.
Ambulance crews were called to the Union Hotel in Gosford just before three on Saturday morning.
A man was suffering serious head injuries after hitting the pavement.
He was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital and underwent brain surgery, after which he remains in a critical but stable condition.
