RUNNING FOR A CAUSE
The Armidale School’s strong City 2 Surf team has topped 150 students – a new record for the school.
They’re using it as a fundraiser for Old Boy Drew Schofield…
“He’s got muscular dystrophy. So, the TAS team of 152 students, we’re all running for him to find a cure basically. To raise money.”
For many, it’ll be the first time they’ve tackled the 14-kilometre course, with Nick Makeham saying the challenge is as much mental, as it is physical.
“Heartbreak Hill is pretty tough, but you know, the music and atmosphere keeps you going. But probably also the final stretch, just running around Bondi.”
