POLICE PLEASED WITH COFFS CUP BEHAVIOUR
As the clean up continued following yesterday’s Coffs Harbour Gold Cup, police were mostly pleased with racegoers behaviour
Throughout the day, 30 attendees were escorted from the venue, some with police assistance.
One serious assault took place at the venue.
“There was probably about half a dozen assaults yesterday and through the evening which were alcohol related.”
There were also four drug detections, mostly cocaine.
While RBT officers were left with reason to smile.
“I’m pleased to say there was only one low range PCS offender detected.”
Although five people were found to be driving with illicit drugs in their system.
