A controversial plan to build a four-storey boarding house in Ourimbah has been halted in the Land and Environment Court.
Today, the court refused an application to demolish the existing block on Glen Road and build a 101-room, affordable housing facility, in its place.
It’s a big win for concerned residents who attended the site inspection last Tuesday and fought to have the plan thrown out.
They say it’s not in keeping with the character of the quiet suburb.
