Police have named the young man, killed in a car accident near Raymond Terrace yesterday.
19-year-old Jackson Blanch – from Newcastle – was travelling south on the Pacific Highway when his Toyota Echo veered into the median strip and rolled.
His 19-year-old female passenger survived.
Police are still working to determine what caused the crash.
