MATT THOMPSON TO MISS TWO BIG GAMES FOR MAITLAND

Matt Thompson will miss Maitland’s friendly against the Jets at Cooks Square Park tomorrow night, after suffering a head knock against Broadmeadow.
The game will provide his teammates with a great opportunity.
“If they perform well on Wednesday night, you never know what might happen. Ernie Merrick is known for promoting players from local leagues.”
The Magpies need to beat Lambton on Saturday to have a chance of making the NPL finals.
“We’ve still got two games to go. If we win those games and results go our way we still might be a chance.”
