ANOTHER SOLAR FARM FOR THE NORTHERN TABLELANDS
Plans for the second largest solar farm in New South Wales have been given the tick of approval.
The 102 megawatt solar farm will be constructed east of Armidale, and will add to the growing renewable energy providers across the region.
It follows the opening of Moree solar farm earlier this year.
“We are very soon to be, for the first time in our history as a region a net exporter of energy, rather than a net importer of energy,” Northern Tablelands MP, Adam Marshall.
Construction will begin in the coming months.
