CHALLENGE COMMUNITY SERVICES BACK PAY 18 EMPLOYEES

One of Tamworth’s largest disability not-for-profits say its accidentally underpaid eighteen employees.
Challenge Community Services has back-paid $370,000 to their workers, after a disability classification mistake.
Fair Work says the workers were classified as “employees with a disability”, despite not receiving a disability support pension.
Challenge say its identified the issue internally and are confident there are no other classification discrepancies.
