SWANS WIN OVER THE GIANTS MOVES THEM TO SIXTH

It’s a WA derby to wrap up round 17 of the AFL, with West Coast leading Fremantle with a quarter to go.
Earlier today, the premiers prevailed against Carlton while the Tigers beat the Lions. Last night, Adelaide thumped Melbourne, Collingwood accounted for the Suns, and the Swans won the all-Sydney showdown.
As usual, Isaac Heeney was a powerful presence for the Swans, as he lined up for his 50th game in the AFL.
But as he does so often, Buddy Franklin stole the show.
The win moves Sydney to sixth on the ladder.
