Lake Macquarie’s Will Ryan and team mate Matt Belcher have slipped to third at the 470 class sailing world championships – but remain almost certainties to qualify for the medal race.
Overnight they finished 10th in the only race of the day, there’ll be one more qualifying race before the final.
