CRUSADERS OUT OF BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS

Crusaders Coach Tim Hudson says he couldn’t be prouder, despite his team missing out on a spot in the Waratah Basketball League playoffs.

Hills defeated the injury-riddled Central Coast side by 38 points in today’s game.

The Crusaders struggled to back up, after last night’s victory over the Maitland Mustangs at Gosford.

Sydney Kings recruit Callum Jenkins helped lead the team back from a five-point halftime deficit, to win 91-83.

The Central Coast side will wrap up its season with a double header at home against Sutherland next weekend. (Note: audio in parts)
