LISAROW SPORTS PRECINCT OFFICIALLY OPENED

Despite the wet weather, Lisarow’s new sporting complex was officially opened to the public today.
The precinct includes three new grounds, with advanced drainage and floodlights, and will host local cricket and AFL matches.
“The big thing we’re short of in Gosford is quality playing fields, so with the drainage and that on these you’re going to be able to play more times.”
The project cost $5-million, with Gosford Council and the federal government each contributing $2.5-million, while the state government pledged $50,000.
