The Westpac Rescue Chopper helipad was a little crowded today, with more than 100 Harley Davidson motorcycles rolling into the base.
The riders dropped in for some breakfast mid-way through their HOG’s for heli-rescue charity ride, which supports the service.
Jill Stonnell from Gasoline Alley says it’s a fitting charity for the riders to support. “If anything happens on the road when we’re on the road riding these are the guys that come pick us up, so that’s why it’s an excellent charity for us.”
The charity ride ended in Coffs Harbour today.
