All the pomp and ceremony was on show at Fort Scratchley today, as reality television star Jackie Gillies was handed the keys to Newcastle.
Filmed as part of The Real Housewives of Melbourne, the professional pyschic and husband of Silverchair drummer Ben Gillies, was also honoured with an Aboriginal smoking ceremony.
