300 of Australia’s most promising young female footballers are in Coffs Harbour this week for the National Youth Championships.
The week-long tournament kicked off this morning at the International Stadium.
The girls, who make up the 20 teams taking part, will all be vying for national selection.
“we’ve got the most elite girls for the under-14s and 15s across Australia from our nine member federation states, so they are on showcase for the week and we are really looking forward to it.”
The event, which is being hosted by Northern New South Wales Football, has been held in Coffs Harbour every year since 2006.
