The ‘music and move’ program at Sunnyfield Disability Services has been operating for three years now but it was a $7000 state government grant that saw the service able to purchase instruments – giving the group something to really sing about.
Today Member for Tamworth, Kevin Anderson, joined the choir for a sing along.
Sunnyfield workers say they’ve seen a real boost in confidence and social interaction of clients, since the group really took off.
The choir hopes to perform on Disability Day later this year.
