ROCK WALL TO BE BUILT AT THE ENTRANCE
The state government is calling for tenders to build a rock groyne along South Entrance beach.
It’s hoped the proposed 100-metre structure will help control erosion and directly benefit the coastline stretching from The Entrance to the Tuggerah Lakes channel.
The project is estimated to cost around $2-million dollars and will involve the placement of approximately 6,000 tonnes of rocks.
Work is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
