JOHN HUNTER PATIENTS TO BENEFIT FROM PARKING FEE CUTS

Patients and carers who regularly visit John Hunter Hospital can now save around $35 a week on parking, thanks to state government cuts which have just taken effect.

Under the changes, eligible visitors pay a maximum of $10.90 for a three-day ticket, and $21.70 for a seven-day one.

The move was prompted by a Sydney teenager’s online petition.
