FIRE DESTROYS HOME EAST OF GLOUCESTER

A house has been gutted by fire on a property at Firefly, east of Gloucester.

Rural Fire Service members spotted the flames just after 3pm, while on their way to another blaze.

In an unfortunate twist, a resident of the property is an RFS member too – and had also rushed to that fire.

The home couldn’t be saved.
