JURY DISCHARGED FOR SECOND TIME IN TAMWORTH MURDER TRIAL

A jury has been dismissed for the second time in a murder trial in Tamworth’s Supreme Court.

Troy Jason Ruttley is accused of murdering Tamworth mother Johann Morgan, who went missing in August 20-15.

Her body has never been found.

Justice Anthony Payne discharged the jury at the start of this morning’s proceedings – after two jurors informed him they’d be unable to take part due to medical conditions.

A new jury will be empanelled tomorrow morning.
