PLANS FOR PARK UPGRADES

New picnic and playground facilities are on the cards for two popular parks.
Plans to transform Thomas H Halton Park at Croudace Bay have been given the green light by Lake Macquarie Council.
The project will see a new BMX track, learner bicycle circuit, cafe and enclosed dog area.
Meanwhile, plans will go on exhibition tomorrow for a new $1.25-million ‘Active Hub’ at Stockton’s Griffith Park… including a 30-metre flying fox.
