The Tamworth Cricket Association has received overwhelming support for its push against increased field fees, following plans by Tamworth Regional Council to change the way it charges for field hire and preparation.
The city’s cricket association will be the hardest hit, with annual fees set to increase by 103 per cent.
Two days ago the group launched an online survey – so far it’s received more than 530 signatures, including the support of international cricketers, Josh Hazlewood and Erin Osborne.
