AMBULANCE RESPONSE SECOND SLOWEST IN STATE

New figures have revealed the Northern Rivers has the second slowest ambulance response times in the state.

The Bureau of Health Information report shows from January to March just 10 percent of high priority cases were responded to within 30 minutes.

The figure puts the zone well below the state average response of 94.7 percent.

It’s the first time the ambulance data has been included in the quarterly report.
