6 PEOPLE TEST POSITIVE FOR DRUG DRIVING IN ONE AFTERNOON

Manning-Great Lakes Police say they’re concerned by the number of drug drivers in the region.
It comes after six people produced a positive reading during an afternoon of random testing in Taree and Forster yesterday.
Five of those were allegedly driving under the influence of cannabis – the sixth, ice.
Their drug samples will now be sent to Sydney for further testing.
“We seem to be running at a higher than state average with the conversion rates of positive tests to the amount of random threats that are conducted.”
