A man’s been charged with murder, after a woman’s body was discovered at a home at Toronto.
Officers were led to the 67-year-old’s body by a 51-year-old man.
Police allege he disclosed certain information to paramedics, while being treated for injuries sustained in a car crash at Fassifern.
Officers attended the William Street property where they found the woman’s body – allegedly suffering several stab wounds.
The man was charged with murder and was refused bail in Newcastle Local Court today.
Police believe the murder to be a domestic incident.
