Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a man, who attempted to abduct a 12-year-old girl at Port Macquarie.
At around 3:30pm yesterday, the girl was on the grounds of her high school when she was attacked by a man wearing a balaclava.
She managed to break free and was running towards Widderson Street when she was again grabbed by the man.
She escaped, running to a nearby home to raise the alarm.
The man is described as tall, with a solid, muscular build and tanned skin.
He was wearing a black balaclava, black long-sleeve shirt and denim shorts.
