30-YEAR-OLD TO FACE COURT OVER TAMWORTH STABBING
A man has been charged after a stabbing in the north-west of New South Wales last week.
Early in the morning of Thursday the 8th of June, two men and a woman were in a red-coloured four-wheel-drive on Campbell Road in the Tamworth suburb of Calala.
One of the men, aged 30, allegedly produced a knife and stabbed the other man.
Police say he then attempted to stab the woman, before fleeing the scene.
The stabbed man, aged 33, received treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
Just before midday yesterday, police arrested the 30-year-old man, charging him with wounding with intent.
