POLICE ALLEGEDLY DISCOVER DRUGS AND CASH IN PROPERTY SEARCH
Cannabis, methlyamphetamine, and a sum of cash have been seized in a property search on the mid-north coast.
Around 10am yesterday, police executed a search warrant at a home in Port Macquarie.
Police allege they found a sophisticated hydroponic setup, housing 15 cannabis plants, as well as dry cannabis.
An amount of methlyamphetamine, a small amount of cash, mobile phones and drug paraphernalia were also allegedly seized.
A 36-year-old man was charged with a range of offences, including cultivate prohibited plant, supply prohibited drug, resist police, dealing in the proceeds of crime, and goods in custody.
A 22-year-old woman, who was also home at the time of the warrant, is expected to be charged with possess prohibited drug.
