Shocking footage has emerged of a violent brawl outside a Hamilton pub over the weekend.
Newcastle police are investigating the incident where a pedestrian crossing Beaumont Street knocked two men to the ground.
Mobile phone footage shows one man taking on the small group.
The blond man knocks down one man, then punches a second who was bending over checking on his friend.
He then punches the first man again as he tries to stand up.
The blond man is taken away by bystanders who then attend to the two apparent victims.
The fight allegedly took place at 1am on Sunday.
Police said the two men suffered minor facial injuries but provided only limited information to police.
