In a bid to improve parking turnover in Tamworth’s CBD, sensors are being installed along Peel Street and in the Town Hall carpark.
It’s the second phase of a parking upgrade, which council started in September last year.
Council says the new sensors will also ease pressure on parking rangers.
The installation is expected to be completed by the end of next week.
