Central has taken a share of top-spot on Newcastle Rugby League’s ladder, after winning their make-up match against the Scorps today.
It was the home side who looked good early, Macquarie crossing for the game’s opening two tries, and in style as well.
That’s when Central began to find their groove. Shaun Metcalfe getting them on the board.
But their real run didn’t start until the second half. Trailing 14-6, they scored two unanswered tries to claim the result.
