The Greens have called for the Local Government Minister to intervene as court action continues to divide Cessnock councillors.
Mayor Alison Davey is taking action against 10 councillors, to stop them voting on a motion to oust General Manager, Lea (Lee) Rosser.
State Greens MP David Shoebridge says the community is entitled to an inquiry.
