State opposition leader Luke Foley has accepted Deputy Premier John Barilaro’s invitation to debate nuclear power, and suggested Lismore host the forum.
Mr Barilaro issued the challenge last month, during the Nationals’ annual conference at Broken Hill.
The Labor leader wants an impartial moderator to oversee the debate, and audience members to provide questions.
Mr Barilaro’s office is yet to confirm when and where the debate will be held.
