REDHEAD MEN’S SHED UNVEILS NEW ACCESS RAMP
After two years and 3,000 hours of labour by dedicated volunteers, a new disability access ramp has been officially opened at the Redhead Men’s Shed.
“Big day for us today at the shed, we spent two years building a disabled access ramp to a part of our shed we couldn’t get to before,” said Ken Ferguson, President of the Redhead Men’s Shed.
The project was made possible thanks to support from the community and all levels of government.
“This has really been a three fold partnership with council, state and federal with money and in-kind support from all three,” said State Member for Charlestown, Jodie Harrison.
