The first day of winter is here, with very little cloud cover sitting over the nation. More cold air is pushing in across the south east.
The nation is dominated by a massive high pressure cell which will make for more fine weather inland.
The southerly winds will run up the coast remaining strong while keeping things cool.
There will be some coastal showers in between the Central Coast and Port Macquarie with a solid swell.
Another chilly morning ahead before a fine, cool, breezy day unfolds.
Over the weekend the coastal showers will become more active for all.
