A mid-north coast psychologist has been charged with indecently assaulting a young boy.
The 51-year-old man was arrested at a clinic in Coffs Harbour just before 10am yesterday.
Police say the child was a patient of the psychologist when the alleged indecent assaults occurred.
The man was charged with four counts of indecent assault of a person under 16 years, and will appear in Coffs Harbour Local Court on July 11.
