BYRON BAY GETS A MAKEOVER

Byron Shire Council has approved improvement works on the Railway Park Toilets, after Byron United submitted a report, highlighting the area’s grafitti problem.

Council is now seeking tenders for the design, but says the new grafitti friendly structure is estimated to cost up to $150,000.

While Byron United has welcomed the move, it say it’s only the first step in a long line of much needed work.

“There’s several other locations that need the same type of treatment and if not a rebuilt, atleast a regular paint and clean”
