Newcastle City Council has unveiled a new-look playground in Tarro, with the new facility receiving a big thumbs up from local children.
The $200,000 playground features a 25-metre double platform flying fox – which was a highlight at today’s official opening.
Other favourites included the giant swing and boulder wall.
It was primarily funded by council, with the state government also chipping in some money.
