BOOKWORMS BUY UP BIG AT ROTARY BOOK SALE
Bookworms across the region have snapped up more than 80,000 titles at the Rotary Club of Tamworth’s annual book sale.
So far, more than $26,000 has been raised from the one-week sell-off – with the final day yet to be counted.
The first sale was held in 1984 and organisers say more than 100,000 books were donated for this year’s event.
All money raised will be given to local and international charities, while any unsold books will be stored for next year.
