REDHEAD BEACH CAFE DESTROYED BY FIRE

The cafe at Redhead Beach Surf Club has been destroyed in an early morning fire.

A member of the public arrived at the club at around 4am and alerted authorities.

Crews were at the scene for almost two hours…fortunately the blaze was contained to the cafe, with no structural damage to the rest of the building.

The fire is not being treated as suspicious – it’s believed to have started in the kitchen.
