PALLIATIVE CARE FIGHT TAKEN TO TAMWORTH STREETS

The North West Cancer Council is taking its fight for an extra local palliative care nurse to the streets, with representatives planning to door knock business, to ask for their support.
Over the next week, palliative care advocates will be asking CBD business owners to display an ‘I Care for Palliative Care’ banner in their shop window.
Currently, the North West is cared for by only one palliative care nurse, who has around 80 patients on his books at any given time.
