Upgrades at Murrurundi’s Fire and Rescue station have stalled, with construction work more than four months behind schedule.
Design setbacks have been blamed for the delay, with the finishing date now pushed into the next financial year.
The layout for the $900,000 station has now been changed, with the new building to be built on the vacant block adjacent to the ageing station.
