MARSHALL UPSET GONSKI NOT FUNDED IN FULL

Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall is disappointed in the Turnbull Government’s lack of commitment to the Gonski program.

The MP says the full amount of promised funding should have been delivered in this week’s budget.

“What we’ve seen and what’s been presented by the Federal Government is not Gonski 2.0, it’s Gonski Lite. Whilst it picks up the framework of needs based funding, it doesn’t deliver the full funding that NSW signed up to five years ago.”

The New England electorate has already received over $12-million dollars in Gonski funding.
