SERVICE STATION STAFF THREATENED WITH SHOTGUN

A 34-year-old man has been refused bail, after he allegedly threatened staff at the Argenton 7-Eleven service station with a sawn off shotgun.

Police say a man and a woman were involved in an argument with staff members yesterday afternoon.

It’s believed they left the store and returned a short time later – the man allegedly armed with the weapon.

The panicked employees locked themselves in a back room and phoned police.

The Argenton man is facing several charges…he’s due back in court later this month.
