Oxley Detectives have charged an 18-year-old Tamworth man at Wellington police station over a Tamworth break and enter in November.
Police allege the man broke into the Bell Street home and attempted to sexually assault an 81-year-old woman.
“Oxley detectives have been running an investigation since the date of this offence and their investigations have lead them down to Wellington yesterday where the male was arrested” said Inspector Kylie Endemi.
He’s been charged with aggravated break and enter with intent, attempted sexual assault and indecent assault.
