TEEN ARRESTED FOLLOWING STRING OF CAR BREAK-INS
A teen is set to face 38 charges in court today following several alleged car break-ins at a railway car park on the Central Coast last month.
Police say several vehicles were broken into at the multi-storey car park in Woy Woy between Wednesday 19 April and Tuesday 9 May.
Just after 12.30pm yesterday, plain clothes officers arrested a 16-year-old teenager inside the car park.
A search of the teen located several items, which police will allege were used to break into and damage vehicles.
He was taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with 38 offences including steal from motor vehicle, malicious damage and shoplifting.
The teen was refused bail to appear at a children’s court today.
Further charges are expected.
