Specialist police, assisted by the fire brigade’s hazardous materials unit, have been at the scene of a suspected drug lab at Lake Macquarie for much of the day.
Police carried out a search warrant on the house in Regent Street at Tingira Heights at around 8.30 this morning.
One man has been arrested.
The operation is expected to continue for some time.
