SOLAR ENERGY USERS SET TO GET MORE FOR ENERGY THEY FEED BACK INTO THE GRID
Households that use solar power systems could soon get more money for energy they feed back into the grid, with the New South Wales Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal releasing its draft feed-in tariff.
Currently customers are paid around six-cents for every kilowatt hour they feed back into the grid, but that could increase to more than 14-cents per kilowatt hour under the draft determination.
A final determination will be handed down by IPART next month.
