ARMIDALE TEEN CHARGED WITH ALLEGED STEALING OFFENCES
A teenager will face court, charged over a string of thefts in the north-west.
Police say earlier this month, a unit on Niagara Street in Armidale was broken into, where cash, electric items and ornaments were stolen.
Then on Thursday this week, police allege a teenager opened the passenger of two separate cars on Marsh Street and Dumaresq Street, and stole items including handbags and a mobile phone.
Another woman had her mobile phone stolen while walking within the grounds of a University on Meredith Road yesterday.
Subsequent police inquiries led to the arrest of a 16-year-old boy on Edward Street yesterday.
He was charged with aggravated break and enter, two counts of steal from person, and one count of aggravated robbery.
