It’s been a cool blast to knock down temperatures.
Tonight will be a cold one, with a frosty morning to start the day across the Northern Tablelands.
A fast moving trough is going to skim the Mid North Coast so there will be some showers to hit the exposed headlands from Newcastle to Coffs Harbour.
The swell will remain big and dangerous. A fine and warmer weekend is on the way.
